Product description

Bubble mailers with a red tear strip and two adhesive strips.

Designed for shipping, opening, and returning. Simply place the goods inside the mailer, insert any necessary documents, and seal it quickly using the first adhesive strip. The end customer can easily open the mailer by pulling the red tear strip, located at a perforated section on either the left or right side. If the recipient decides to return one or more items, they can securely reseal the flap using the second HK adhesive strip and send it back. The flap construction — featuring one tear strip and two HK adhesive strips — is widely used in the e-commerce industry. This mailer has been specifically designed to meet the demands of the e-commerce market.

We offer flexo printing in up to 6 colors on all standard sizes from A/11 to K/20, including CD format. Additionally, we provide CMYK offset printing for sizes ranging from A/11 to E/15, as well as CD. We are among the very few in the world capable of producing mailers with precisely registered double-sided printing for both of these printing methods.

    Variant E – E-commerce flap

    Mailer with a tear strip for easy opening and an additional adhesive strip for returns.

    • Flap components:

    I – Adhesive – x2

    II – Tear tape / pull strip – Allows quick and easy opening of the mailer without damaging the second HK adhesive strip (covered by a white silicone release strip).

    III – Silicone-coated paper strip protecting the adhesive from drying out – x2

    IV – Perforations – placed on both sides of the strip, on the left and right edges of the mailer. Enable smooth tearing to open the mailer.

    E-commerce variant capabilities:

    1 – The packer places the shipment inside the mailer and peels off the wider, upper silicone strip;

    2 – The packer seals the flap; the adhesive firmly bonds to the paper. The shipment is sent;

    3 – The recipient opens the flap by pulling the tear strip from the left or right side at the clear perforations;

    4 – The tear strip cuts the flap without damaging the second adhesive strip. The recipient removes the contents;

    5 – If the recipient decides to return the item(s), they place them back in the mailer with documents and peel off the second silicone strip;

    6 – The recipient reseals the flap; the adhesive bonds firmly to the paper. The return shipment is sent;

    7 – The seller opens the flap by pulling it and retrieves the returned item(s). The mailer’s design allows for recycling by separating paper from plastic film.

    1. Placing goods inside the mailer.

    2. Peeling off the silicone strip protecting the hotmelt HK adhesive.

    3. Sealing the flap and sending the mailer.

    4. The customer opens the mailer using the red tear strip. An additional convenience is the perforation located on both sides of the sealed flap.
    5. The goods are then removed.

       

    6. If the customer decides to return one or more items, they pack them into the mailer. Then, they peel off the second silicone strip securing the double-sided adhesive tape.
    7. Sealing the flap and returning the mailer.

    8. Removing the returned goods.

    It is possible to order bubble mailers with FSC® certification.

    Note: For the brown kraft 75 g/m² paper, the FSC® MIX category is available; however, this product variant can only be supplied without a printed FSC® certification label on the envelope itself. Instead, certification information will appear on the secondary packaging—specifically on the carton labels—and on sales and delivery documents.

    We offer the production of envelopes with the FSC® license code C134989 assigned to Packair Sp. z o.o., or with the FSC® license code of the end customer, or with the FSC® license code of an intermediary.

    The certificate is available for any order quantity and incurs no additional charge. Ask about FSC® certified products!

      FLEXO Printing Types to Choose From

      PRINT 1+0
      That is, printing with one selected color, single-sided (available for orders of 5,000 pieces or more).
      Worth knowing: 1+0 printing is cheaper and the most commonly chosen for bubble envelopes.

      APLA Printing with Spot Color
      This refers to printing over the entire surface of the envelope, usually double-sided.
      The front side is printed with 1 to 3 spot colors, not registered (non-aligned).
      The back side is printed with 1 color.
      Available for orders of 5,000 pieces or more.

      or

      2+0 Printing
      This means printing two selected colors on one side only.
      Available for orders of 5,000 pieces or more.

       

      3+0 Printing
      This means printing three selected colors on one side only.
      Available for orders of 5,000 pieces or more.

       

      Printing of Endless Patterns
      This means printing a single chosen color, either one-sided or double-sided. The front side features the logo, postal information, website, advertisements, while the back side has a simple endless pattern matching the graphic style of the ordering company.
      This option is available for orders of 5,000 pieces or more.

       

      Worth Knowing:
      Colors are selected based on the files provided or as specified by the Client. Single-color printing is the most cost-effective and most commonly chosen option. The printing area for orders of 5,000 pcs and more is the entire outer surface of the envelope.

      Information for Specialists:
      Bubble envelopes are assembled from two separate paper rolls — a back roll and a front roll — so we cannot match the front print with the back print, and vice versa.

      What this means in practice:

      • If the print with names/logos is on the front, the back can be either unprinted, single-color APLA, or single-color large-caliber with endless printing.

      • If the print with names/logos is on the back, the front can be either unprinted, single-color APLA, or single-color large-caliber with endless printing.

      Prints for quantities above 5,000 pieces are made on white offset paper 75 g/m². Offset paper is most commonly chosen for CMYK printing and is preferred due to its lower price compared to kraft paper.

        Types of CMYK Printing to Choose From

        CMYK+0 PRINTING

        – coverage of 5% to 95% of the surface (OFFSET technology)

        meaning multicolor CMYK printing, single-sided, with print coverage below 100% (unprinted strip on the left and right edges)

        printing on the front (CMYK+0) or the back (0+CMYK) of the mailer

        minimum CMYK print order varies depending on the format (different standard formats apply for CMYK)

         

         

        CMYK+0 PRINTING – 100% surface coverage (OFFSET technology)

        1-4 PANTONE PRINTING – 5%-100% surface coverage (OFFSET technology)

        • printing up to 4 Pantone colors, single-sided, with print coverage below 100% (unprinted strip on the left and right edges)

        • printing on the front (4+0) or back (0+4) of the envelope

        • minimum order for 1-4 PANTONE varies depending on the format (standard formats same as for CMYK)

         

        Worth knowing: Colors are selected based on the files provided or as specified by the Client. The print area for CMYK technology covers the entire outer surface of the mailer.

        Information for specialists: Bubble envelopes are assembled from two separate rolls of paper—one for the back and one for the front—therefore, front and back prints are not matched.

        What this means in practice:
        If the print with graphics/logo is on the front, then the back can be unprinted, or single-color APLA, or large-scale continuous print.
        If the print with graphics/logo is on the back, then the front can be unprinted, or single-color APLA, or large-scale continuous print.

        CMYK prints on bubble envelopes are made exclusively on 75 g/m² white offset paper. Offset paper is most commonly chosen for CMYK printing due to its lower cost compared to kraft paper.

        Product packaging information:

        • Envelopes are packed in brown cartons sealed with paper tape.
        • Each carton is labeled with a sticker containing information about its contents.

        1. Placing goods into the envelope.

        2. Peeling off the silicone strip covering the hotmelt (HK) adhesive.

        3. Closing the flap and sending the mailer.

        4. The customer opens the envelope using the red tear strip.

          An additional convenience is the perforation located on both sides of the sealed flap, which makes tearing easier and ensures clean and effortless opening.

        5. The contents are removed.

        6. If the customer decides to return one or more items, they pack them back into the envelope. Then, they peel off the second silicone strip securing the double-sided adhesive tape.
        7. Closing the flap and returning the mailer.

        8. Removal of the returned items.

        It is possible to order bubble mailers with FSC® certification.

        Note: For the brown kraft 75 g/m² paper, the FSC® MIX category is available; however, this product variant can only be supplied without a printed FSC® certification label on the envelope itself. Instead, certification information will appear on the secondary packaging—specifically on the carton labels—and on sales and delivery documents.

        We offer the production of envelopes with the FSC® license code C134989 assigned to Packair Sp. z o.o., or with the FSC® license code of the end customer, or with the FSC® license code of an intermediary.

        The certificate is available for any order quantity and incurs no additional charge. Ask about FSC® certified products!

        What files should be provided:

        You can send a description of the print and attach a logo, upload a preview design, or submit a print-ready file.

        GRAPHIC FILES FOR PRINTING:
        Print-ready files or materials. Either in vector format or bitmaps with a resolution of at least 300 dpi.
